Dr Matthew Hagger studied at Oxford University and the Royal Free Hospital, London, gaining a first in physiological sciences at Oxford. His core and higher Psychiatric training was in London. He is dual trained in old age and adult Psychiatry, with an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry.
He has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2011 and in 2016 was appointed to his present position as Consultant in Liaison psychiatry at the Royal Free Hospital, London. He is the tutor for foundation and specialty doctors in Camden and Islington NHS trust. His main interests are in teaching about mental health both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and also across different professional disciplines. read more
