Dr Sachdev completed her medical graduation from India. She completed her membership exams in 2010 and attained a completion of certificate training in old age psychiatry in 2013. She has an interest in teaching and completed a certificate in learning and teaching from Queen Mary University, London.
She has worked as a liaison Old Age psychiatrist from 2013 – 2018 initially at the Central North West London Foundation Trust and then at the East London Foundation Trust. She has been working as a community Old Age consultant psychiatrist in East London foundation Trust since 2018. As part of her teaching she is involved in teaching and training a number of professionals and currently teaches for Edge training and consultancy limited. She was the faculty executive member of the old age faculty and is currently a regional representative for the Old Age faculty. Her publications include – Trainee Online module titled “Adaptations in Adult Life”, co-chair of the publication titled “Frailty: Ensuring the best outcomes for older people”.
