Dr Warner is a consultant psychiatrist specialising in older adult’s mental health. He qualified as a doctor from Charing Cross Hospital Medical School in 1986. After further
training as a physician he undertook training in psychiatry in Liverpool before a series of academic appointments at Charing Cross Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and then Imperial College London. He has been a consultant psychiatrist at Central North West London Foundation Trust since 1998 specialising in diagnosis and treatment of dementia, depression, psychosis and other mental illnesses. His training as a physician as well as a psychiatrist enables me to provide holistic care for my patients. He was elected as chair of the Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry at the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2012, he is the UK representative for Old Age Psychiatry in the World Psychiatric Association and was appointed National Professional Advisor for old age psychiatry at the Care Quality Commission in 2014.
