Dr Dina Gazizova is a Consultant in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disabilities and is employed by the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust as a community
consultant for Enfield and Hillingdon Psychiatry of Intellectual Disabilities Teams. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is on the specialist register of the Psychiatry of Intellectual disabilities for the General Medical Council. She holds full registration and License to practice. Her qualifications include Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She also has a CCST (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training) in Psychiatry of Intellectual Disabilities obtained in 2012. Dr Gazizova had specialist training in assessment and diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder (Autism diagnostic observation schedule [ADOS]), and the Developmental, Dimensional and Diagnostic Interview (3di) and regularly conducts structured autism assessments. She a member of Neurodevelopmental disorders Special Interest Group (SIG) of RCPsych. She regularly assesses mental health needs, capacity and manages complex psychiatric presentations in people with intellectual disabilities in the community and inpatient settings. Dr Gazizova has published articles in peer reviewed journals of international repute. She is Approved under section 12(2) of MHA and also an Approved Clinician (AC). Dr Gazizova currently has an honorary role within the Royal College of Psychiatrists as their Deputy Regional Advisor (London Division). Dr Gazizova is an examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Faculty of Medicine, the Imperial College, London. She is a medical appraiser in her employing NHS Trust. Dr Gazizova is also a Clinical Supervisor with the UCLP Higher Psychiatric Training Scheme.
