Dr Colin Mitchell Graduated in Medicine in 2002 from Edinburgh University. He has served as a Senior House Officer and Specialist Registrar at various hospitals throughout the UK and also the Maroondah Hospital in Melbourne.
He is now a consultant Geriatrician and Physician at St. Mary’s Hospital in London. His extra-clinical work includes positions as speaker at the Elder Care/Ageing Seminars for the Working Parent Company and as an Honorary Lecturer for Imperial College. Colin has a special interest in using Information Technology and Social Media to improve training and service design and has authored numerous articles and presentations on the subject, such as “Using smartphones and the medical web to become a more up-to-date, productive and informed physician” (CME – Geriatric Medicine, Jun 2011).
