Dr Josie Jenkinson graduated in Medicine from St George’s, University of London in 2005, and has a PhD in Old Age Psychiatry from King’s College London.
She is currently working as a Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry with the Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals Psychiatric Liaison Service and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. She has particular interest and expertise in Delirium. Research has always been part of her practice, and she is currently Deputy Director of Research and Development at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. She is a previous Vice-Chair and current executive committee member of the Faculty of Old Age Psychiatry at the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She is the Medical Director of Halcyon Doctors.
